High Torque Starter Motors

Starting problems - a well known frustration of owning a classic car and, in a competition car, can ruin your weekend.

PowerLite High Torque Starter Motors save weight, improve performance and maximise your chances of starting your car first time

• Around twice as powerful so they run faster and start the engine regardless of temperature or compression
• They draw about half the current of an original starter putting less strain on the battery and starting when the battery is in lower condition
• Weight can be reduced up to 50% from conventional starters
• The starters are usually smaller and easier to fit than the standard starter motor

We offer a wide range of replacement starters from the Mini to the Rolls Royce all of which are direct bolt on replacements requiring no modification to wiring or fitting.

Many of the starters regularly fitted to race cars come with adjustable mounting flanges so they can be rotated to fit. If you have special requirements most starters can be modified to fit special installations for a small extra charge.
