Alfa Romeo Spider 9 tooth pinion Strong, powerful, offset gear-reduced starter motor, delivering huge cranking torque through a set of steel internal gears. Lightweight, compact and durable this unit starts the engine faster with immense power, whilst drawing less current from the battery. All built by us in the UK!
Fits the following Alfa Romeo series with 2000 engines: 105 Series, 115 Series and 116 Series, including later 162A (90) and 162B (75) models fitted with the 9-tooth Bosch/Marelli starter.
Note: The GT Junior was produced with both 1300cc (1290cc) and 1600cc (1570cc) engines. The late 1600 GT Junior models changed to the 9-tooth starter, so only the earlier cars are covered by the 8-tooth application.
